Shimmering Champagne with Great Performance Bloodlines and Quick/Catty Athleticism! Doll is now broke to ride, thanks Ashley, great job!
Doll's sire is an own son of Multiple World/Reserve World Champion/NRHA Hall of Famer Smart Chic Olena (LTE of $167,471, and Sire of Offspring earning in excess of $8 million to date in NCHA/NRHA/NRCHA), who is by Legendary NCHA Triple Crown Winner Smart Little Lena (LTE $743,275, NCHA All-Time Leading Stallion, and Producer of Offspring with combined LTE in excess of $32.5 million). Others on her AQHA papers include Halter Point Earner Miss Lynx Cricket and NCHA Money Earner Loun Prescription. Also on her sire's and dam's papers are performers and producers like Doc O'Lena, Smart Peppy, Gay Bar King, Sugar Vandy, Doc's Lynx, and Doc's Prescription. She is tested HERDA, GBED, and PSSM N/N (negative, not a carrier of the disorders). Some comments from Ashley, who trained Doll for us in the fall of her 2 year old year (2011): ...I am not kidding when I say this is the best filly/mare I have ever worked with under saddle. I seriously miss riding her- she was just that easy to be around and so willing to please. She is one of those horses that is just born broke and ready to put everything into being a great rider. The quietest disposition under saddle of any horse I have ridden. Great headset while riding and also in a easy going mood. She did all the obstacles and never spooked at anything. I rode her down the road and she was good around vehicles too. She rode bareback or saddled and in a halter/lead rope wrapped around or a bridle. I never did find anything she wouldn't do for me while riding. She let me ride double with my little girl (not yet 3 years old at the time) after only a couple days of training! She is very responsive to leg pressure and works well off light hands on the reins. She is naturally slow and isn't the kind of horse that needs to be held back on the reins just stay back at a walking pace. She was really supple on flexing and I really liked that about her. She had naturally correct form when doing circles, so it wasn't like I had to "work" to put her body into position for it. Doll was so much fun to train and ride... It's horses like her that make the others I've trained seem like WORK. LOL. Doll will be bred to Kory in 2012 for a possibly HOMOZYGOUS CHAMPAGNE, HOMOZYGOUS BLACK, CLASSIC CHAMPAGNE GRULLO! Regardless of color, their 2013 foal will have HIGH BROW HICKORY and SMART CHIC OLENA both right ON its 3 generation AQHA papers! ASHLEY STARTS DOLL'S TRAINING UNDER SADDLE - DAY 1, 9/11/11: AND ON DAY 2 - ALREADY WALKING, TROTTING, TURNING, AND RIDING BAREBACK! BY DAY 20, 10/1/11 - YOU NAME IT! |
